Redirecting error

I'm trying to install wordpress for a friend of mine. He's got jamroom installed in the root directory and I'm trying to install wordpress in a subdirectory. The install is fine but I can't access the blog because i get this error: Code: {{Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects. This webpage has a redirect loop We contacted the webhost and they said it's the jamroom's .htaccess file that causes the problem. They said that the redirects are preventing us from using any subdirectories not associated with jamroom. What do we have to change in the .htaccess file to solve this problem This is the content of the .htaccess file Code: #----------------------------------------- # Jamroom 4 SEFJAM .htaccess file # $Id: sefjam_htaccess,v 1.5 2010/02/11 16:16:33 bigguy Exp $ #----------------------------------------- Options +FollowSymLinks Options -MultiViews RewriteEngine On # This is our fallback page if any friendly URL for a profile should # fail to be redirected. Trouble with custom error pages

Hi all, I am trying to control access to an asp page by using windows resource groups. The virtual directory in IIS has both 'Integrated Windows Authentication' and 'Basic Authentication' checked. When an unauthorized user tries to access this page, it prompts thrice for the user ID and password before going to the 'user not authorized' page. I want it to display the error the very first time an unauthorized user tries to access this page and not ask him thrice before throwing the error page. The operating system being used is Windows 2003 server. Please tell me how I can fix this.

Which domain name to use for my portfolio site whilst based overseas?

I am looking to launch my personal portfolio site soon and at the moment I have registered a .co.uk (have had this for some time) and recently a .com domain. I have just moved to Perth, Australia and will be living here for at least the next few years. When the site is launched I will be aiming at attracting clients in the Perth area, as well as Australia wide. Should I use the .com domain or should I even look at buying a .com.au domain The reason I am doubting using a .com.au domain is incase I go back to the uk after a few years. If this was the case, would using a .com be a better option That way if I return home I could still use this domain and I would only need to change the site content to reflect that I would no longer be based in Australia, and then re-optimise it for uk based searches. What are peoples thoughts on this ShEpS

Domain extension for the Netherlands? What are the rules for obtaining one?

I work at an organization where we purchased a domain with the .DE extension (German) and we entered legal and technical issues that didn't allow us to use the domain extension (after we already bought it) without actually having an organizational presence in Germany. I'm trying to research the rules and technicalities for a domain extension for the Netherlands. 1. What is the domain extension for the Netherlands is it .NL 2. Do people need to meet some legal requirements before they can actually host a site under this domain extension 3. Any guidance on how to handle this as easily as possible
