Problem in sending Email with attachment using ASP CDO.Message

ear I am new to ASP. I want to send the attachment along with the mail when user register. User will fill particulars and attach their resume and will send it to our mail. when i used CdoObject.AddAttachment i am getting an error CDO.Message.1 error '80070002' The system cannot find the file specified. By google search I learnt that while attaching and sending the file as email, one should first upload the file to the hosting server and then attaching will be done. Is it correct and it is the only way If yes please suggest me how to upload a single file and attach and send it to email.

Problem with server timing out sending emails

I've got an ASP routine that sends emails to contacts stored in an Access database. Now that there are 1400 some-odd contacts, the routine often 'times-out' before it has sent all the emails. It sometimes takes 3 tries before it sends them all. Is there a quicker, more efficient way to do this, or is there some parameter that needs to be changed on the web server to keep the process going until it finishes Here is the section of code that loops through the contacts data table, loops through the matching available jobs table and then sends the email. After it's done it also updates the contact's record with the date they were last emailed: Code: " & _ vbCrlf & "Thank you for using the xxxx job search website! Here is a list of the jobs currently matching your most recent search." & _ vbCrlf & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & _ vbCrlf & "Region" & _ vbCrlf & "City" & _ vbCrlf & "State" & _ vbCrlf & "Beds" & _ vbCrlf & "Shift" & _ vbCrlf & "Degree" & _ vbCrlf & "Specialty" & _ vbCrlf & "Duration" & _ vbCrlf & "Start Date" & _ vbCrlf & "" While ((Repeat3__numRows 0) AND (NOT jobs.EOF)) If (Repeat3__numRows Mod 2) Then objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY = objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY & _ vbCrlf & "" Else objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY = objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY & _ vbCrlf & "" End IF objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY = objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Region").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("City").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("State").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Beds").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Shift").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Degree").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Specialty").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Duration").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & jobs.Fields.Item("Start_date").Value & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" Repeat3__index=Repeat3__index+1 Repeat3__numRows=Repeat3__numRows-1 jobs.MoveNext() Wend objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY = objCDOSYSMail.HTMLBODY & _ vbCrlf & "" & _ vbCrlf & "" & _ vbCrlf & "If you have an interest in any of these jobs, please visit our website at

Help with sending Form Data to access database

Hi Forum Members, I can really use a hand here being somewhat of a newbie to asp programming. I have a member registration form that when the user clicks the submit button the form info is sent to a file name validate.asp. The file validate.asp checks all the information to see if it correct and now I would like to have the data that was submitted added to an access database named members into a table that I named reginfo (registration info) and I have tried numerous ways to do this and spent countless hours browsing through websites but cant seem to get it to work. I get every error from 'expected statement' to "expected end" I have included the code below minus my erronus code, but have left the comment in where I intended to place this piece of code.

Line Break when sending e-mail with ASP?

everybody!!! I am using ASP to send an e-mail when somebody hits "submit" The code below is an example of the code I am using Code: Is there a myMail.SOMETHING that will create a new line break for people who do not accept HTML e-mails\t I would need it to appear after myMail.TextBody. I know I could probably just make another line of myMail.TextBody to solve my problem however that is not so in my case. In my actual code it is going through a loop and for each piece of info they entered it will email.

Trouble with an ASP script dealing with sending an html based email.

I have altered an ASP script I picked up and used it on a "request information" page of our website with great success. The script formated the information contained in the form and place it inside an html document for email. However when I attempted to use the same script for a longer employment application, things started to look a little rough. The script is now cutting sections of the html based email out of the middle of the email. Everything seems to be set up ok, however it continues to cut the sections out whenever the email reaches a certain length and always seems to cut the information out of the middle. Below is a selection of the asp code inwhich I am using.....the random letter in the middle of the script is where the code is being cut in half....it does not seem to matter if I break the text up or keep it all together. Code:

Reading a text file & sending e-mails

I need to create something that will read a text file and send e-mail statements from that text file. I know this is a basic application, but I am not sure where to start with this. The text file already contains all of the information for the statements. It is one file that starts with the customer e-mail address and then separates each statement by an marker. I need to be able to browse to upload the file and then have the application cycle through and generate all of the e-mails. I don't need to do any formatting to the text file, just read it and send the e-mails. The server currently uses CDOSYS to send other e-mails from a shopping cart application.

Simultaneously sending messages to Access

Hi !! Hope you can help me out... I'm having this asp application where the visitor is able to send a message to an Access database.. This works great (with the code below). However, when two or more users simultaneously send a message to the database, only ONE message get's saved.. Now, I know this has something to do with lock/unlocking the database.. But how do I implement this in my code \t I have tried everything but it wont work.. I keep getting errors. Here I provide my clean, working code (of course no simultaneously sending of messages possible yet): PHP Code: 50then\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tresponse.write"&SizeAbove50"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstrDELETESQL="DELETE*fromMessagesWHEREid

CDONTS email not sending

, my CDONTS email isn't sending.. I think the code is set up correctly but I'm not positive. Is there a way to specify a mail server, if necessary It seems to be going through without a hitch but the emails are never arriving, to any box I send them to. So perhaps our server needs some sort of authentication before permitting outgoing mails, I'm not really sure. Is there a way to check this I have our form set up on a standard html page, with a "action=process.asp" command.. here's the process.asp file.. Code:
